Welcome to my portfolio! Below you will find information regarding my background
and current / past projects.

Education

I am currently a student at Kansas State University, going in to my senior year. I am pursuing a Bachelors Degree of Science in Computer Science.
I will be graduating Spring 2025! Clicking the button below will redirect you

Background

Being an independent first-generation college student has taught me invaluable lessons about achieving my goals. Throughout college I've worked full time on top of a full time class schedule. Without a blueprint to follow, I've had to rely on my own resourcefulness and determination. This journey has instilled in me a strong sense of self-discipline and perseverance. Navigating the complexities of college life on my own has sharpened my problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new challenges. Additionally, I've learned to seek out and build supportive networks, recognizing the importance of community and collaboration in reaching my objectives. This experience has not only prepared me for the demands of my academic and professional pursuits but has also shaped me into a resilient and proactive individual, ready to tackle any obstacle in my path.

Personal Projects

Welcome to my portfolio! Here, you'll find a showcase of my projects, skills, and experiences that highlight my expertise and passion for programming. Explore my work to see how I turn ideas into impactful solutions. Each entry contains a button that will take you to the repo for the respective project. Please note I have not included anything directly from KSU curriculum in this list, as I wanted to showcase what I myself have done. If I included all past projects from my time at KSU, this list would never end!

This website!

In developing a website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I utilized a comprehensive set of front-end web development skills. HTML provided the structure and semantic markup for content, while CSS allowed me to style and layout elements with precision, ensuring a visually appealing and responsive design across different devices. JavaScript enabled dynamic functionality, such as interactive forms, animations, and AJAX requests for seamless data retrieval. Throughout this project, I gained valuable experience in responsive design principles, browser compatibility testing, and optimizing website performance. It highlighted the importance of accessibility standards and user experience considerations in modern web development, underscoring the need for clean, maintainable code and effective debugging techniques.

  • Manual Mapping Process Injector

In creating my manual map injector in C, I applied a blend of low-level programming skills and advanced memory manipulation techniques. This project demanded a deep understanding of the Windows API for memory management and process manipulation. I honed my skills in debugging and reverse engineering, ensuring the injector could seamlessly load DLLs into a target process without triggering anti-cheat mechanisms. Throughout the development process, I learned the intricacies of PE file format, DLL injection techniques, and the importance of robust error handling in system-level programming. This project not only enhanced my technical proficiency but also underscored the critical role of meticulous planning and testing in software development.

  • Particle collision simulation

The particle collision simulation models particle interactions in 2D space, demonstarting basic physics principles such as motion and collision. It initializes particles with random positions, velocities, radii, and masses, and then detects and resolves collisions using momentum conservation and elasticity. The simulation visualizes these interactions in real-time using SDL2. Developed in C, the program allows for a varying number of particles to be simulated by specifying the count as a command-line argument (e.g ./partice_sim 100 for 100 particles).

  • Simple Calculator with Rust/Slint

The calculator project is a simple yet functional application built using Rust and Slint. Rust is used for the core logic and computational aspects, ensuring robust performance and reliability. Slint provides the graphical interface, allowing for an intuitive and user-friendly design. The project demonstrates the integration of Rust's powerful backend capabilities with Slint's modern UI framework, creating a seamless and efficient application.

  • Neural Network from scratch

This project involved implementing a basic neural network from scratch in C. The network has an input layer with 2 neurons, a hidden layer with 2 neurons, and an output layer with 1 neuron. It utilizes the sigmoid activation function for non-linearity and is trained on the XOR problem to demonstrate the ability to learn non-linear patterns. The backpropagation algorithm is used to adjust the weights and biases based on prediction errors, with stochastic gradient descent and a learning rate to update the parameters.
